Inform GENERAL ASIGURĂRI

Report the accident as soon as possible and provide the information required to register the claim file.

Prepare the required documents

Collect all documents confirming the accident and its consequences.

Submit the compensation claim

Submitting the complete set of documents will allow the claim to be reviewed and settled as quickly as possible.

What information should I prepare?

When reporting the claim, it is useful to have the following information ready:

  • series and number of the insurance policy;
  • date of the event;
  • name of the insured person / name of the injured person;
  • details of the circumstances in which the event occurred;
  • phone number or email address where you can be contacted.

Required documents

Depending on the nature of the event, the following mandatory documents may be requested:

copy of the insurance policy under which the event is being reported

copy of the insured person's identity document

or a copy of the birth certificate if it concerns a minor, together with a copy of the identity document of their representative

copy of the medical document issued on the date of the consultation

showing the diagnosis and treatment applied by the medical providers that rendered first aid after the accident and/or subsequently examined and treated the insured person (medical certificate, medical letter, hospital discharge note, sick leave certificate, copies of prescriptions, etc.)

copy of the report on the investigation of the occupational accident

if the accident occurred at the insured person's workplace

bank details for payment in MDL (Moldovan lei)

copy of the report drawn up by the Police at the scene of the accident

for road traffic accidents

medical report showing the current clinical condition

only in cases of permanent disability resulting from an accident

original receipts or fiscal receipts and invoices for medicines, rehabilitation sessions, etc.;

copy of the medical death certificate of the insured person

copy of the identity document of the policy beneficiary

named beneficiary or heir

certificate of inheritance (notarised copy)

or certificate of heir status (notarised copy), if no beneficiary was designated in the policy

GENERAL ASIGURĂRI reserves the right to request additional documents required to establish the causes of the event and to assess the compensation.

The accident should be reported as soon as possible after it occurs. Under the insurance conditions, notification must generally be made within 30 calendar days from the date of the event.

Compensation can be claimed by you (the insured person), the designated beneficiary, or, where applicable, the legal heirs.
